Contact Management
Welcome to the Contact Management section! Here you'll learn how to work with contacts that are automatically created from your assistant calls.
What are Contacts?
Contacts are automatically created when people call your assistants. Each contact stores:
- Name: Extracted from call interactions
- Phone Number: The caller's phone number
- Call History: All calls made by this contact
- Metadata: Additional information collected during calls
How Contacts are Created
When someone calls your assistant:
- The system checks if a contact with that phone number already exists
- If not, a new contact is automatically created
- The contact is linked to the call for easy tracking
- Future calls from the same number will be linked to the same contact
