Account Suspension
What Is Account Suspension?
Your account may be suspended if there is a problem with your subscription — for example, if a payment fails or your plan expires. While your account is suspended, some features are restricted to protect the integrity of your setup.
What Happens When Your Account Is Suspended?
Phone Number Registration Is Disabled
If your account is suspended, you will see a warning message in the Phone Configuration section:
"Your account is currently suspended. Twilio bundle upload is disabled until the account is reactivated."
This means you will not be able to start or continue the phone number bundle registration process until your account is reactivated.
Any existing phone numbers and assistants that are already configured remain in place — they are not deleted during suspension.
How to Reactivate Your Account
To reactivate a suspended account, subscribe to a new plan in the Subscriptions section of your account settings.
Once your new subscription is confirmed:
- Your account is automatically reactivated — no manual action is required.
- Phone number services are re-enabled immediately.
- You can resume the phone number bundle registration process right away.
